Mini Shop hop quilt

Just finished doing the mini shop hop quilt.  This year pattern was designed by Gretchen at Wagners Quilts and Coonveration at Arapahoe.  The dates are Oct 18 thru Oct 27, 2012.  The stores are Cottage Inspirations of Cambridge

Shop hop starts in 2 days and the store is almost ready! Just need to vacuum but don't want to do that till tomorrow as the elm seeds are coming in the door!

Where does the time go? A new quilt that I have on the wall is called Walkabout. A great quilt and easy to do. Uses those large prints that you don't want to cut. Comes in several sizes.

Mini Christmas Shop Hop

October 20 thru October 29, 2011, we will be doing the mini Christmas Shop Hop - Forecast Thirty Six Inches of Snow. Each store will have one of the 36" panel. Store are Arapahoe, Cambridge, Cozad, Holdrege, Kearney, McCook, North Platte and Norton. Hope you can collect all eight patterns.

Curby's Closet Mary Janes and Cowboy Boots

Fun little shoes for that new one in the family. Quick to make too and so many possiblilites. I had a little fabric left from both and made a shoe and boot and then stuffed if for a pincushion. So adorable!!!!

Jewelry Case with Texture Magic

Made this fun travel case. The outside is made with Texture Magic. A fun product to work with. You quilt your piece and then use steam only to shrink the product. Inside is a product that is called Soft and Stable which keeps its shape. Also got to use 3 of my new zippers in the fun colors.

Peace fabric

Three new bolts with the Peace symbol. Does this remind you of 1960's or what?

Zippers

Just got in 14 inch zippers in 36 different colors. These zippers can be cut in you need shorter one. Great price at 99 cents each.

Pillowcase challenge

Will are participating in the one million pillowcase challenge again this year. Bring in a pillowcase that you made that would be suitable for kids or adults. Last year we gave pillowcases to Christian Homes and the remark was that it made them feel like home and to Toy for Tots. Your name will go in for a drawing of gift certificates. Accepting pillow case until December 1, 2011. The more you bring the better your chance of winning a gift certificates.

Camelot

New fabrics by Jason Yenter called Camelot. Have it in two different colorways. Anxious to get something made with it.
